A Place You Can Call Home
Experience Comfort and Community
Nestled into farmland in Finksburg, Maryland, Hillandale Homes offers a welcoming mobile home community surrounded by serene landscapes, while also convenient to shopping, restaurants and schools and more.
Our
Story

In the 1940's Carl and Zilpah Lassiter bought this land and named it HIllandale. It began as a working farm with fields of sweet corn, vegetables and eventually sprawling orchards that once produced the most delicious apples, peaches and plums in the area. We may still be biased about that - but we weren't the only ones who thought so! Folks would drive from miles around to purchase the produce at our very busy stand.

In the 1960's they began a transformation that spanned three decades. Over time the Lassiter's turned many acres of their land into mobile homesites where they have eventually welcomed 120 families to call Hillandale home. The mobile home neighborhoods were built with the same care that their crops had been tended. Still family owned and operated, we strive to maintain the same welcoming spirit and commitment to our residents.
